Sophia and Marc will be husband and wife next spring! To celebrate, we planned a gorgeous fall engagement session at Baker’s Creek Park in Kannapolis, NC. I haven’t been to this spot in a long time and it’s SO beautiful – especially in the fall. If you’re dreaming of fall portraits, consider a session at Baker’s Creek Park, seriously! You’ll definitely be convinced by the beautiful colors of Sophia and Marc’s engagement session.

Baker’s Creek Park Engagement Session

Like me and my husband, Sophia and Marc met at Appalachian State, so it was fun to get together with a few other alums during this session! I always love getting to talk to people who loved their time at ASU like I did. Sophia and Marc are just super sweet and I immediately hit it off with them, and their son Easton. He is so adorable and I’m absolutely thrilled they brought him for their fall portraits! It was fun to capture some family portraits and also make time for mom and dad to feel special alone together. Easton is super cute and he just makes everyone laugh!

Sophia and Marc really leaned into the fall season when choosing their outfits. I’m obsessed with the sweater dress Sophia chose to wear. Easton’s sweater echoed the same colors as his mom and Marc’s dark sweater pulled it all together. I think the cream color they chose was perfect to really create some contrast against the yellow and orange leaves around us. Honestly, Baker’s Creek Park was absolutely stunning and turned out to be such a dreamy spot for our session!

I can’t wait to see Sophia and Marc this spring for their Separk Mansion wedding day! As you know, it’s one of my favorite venues in Charlotte NC and I know their wedding day will be so stylish and chic!! I can’t wait!! Congratulations again, Sophia and Marc!
