I am so excited about sharing Rochelle and Craig’s cozy fall Latta Nature Preserve engagement session today! Their session was absolutely perfect – complete with their sweet pups and beautiful outfits. I’m so happy that we had the chance to capture these gorgeous fall colors during their session in Mecklenburg County!

Latta Nature Preserve Engagement Session

Rochelle and Craig picked the beautiful Latta Nature Preserve in Huntersville, NC for their engagement session. It was a great choice. With gorgeous fall colors everywhere you looked and a great waterfront option, we had so many amazing locations to capture their images. It was also a perfect location because they could bring their two sweet dogs along. I LOVE when my couples bring their dogs with them to their photo sessions – working with dogs is always a lot of fun. Rochelle and Craig’s pups definitely stole the show, but that’s okay. They were just SO cute! 

Like all of my couples, Rochelle and Craig planned for two outfits during their engagement sessions. We started with a more relaxed look while they walked the dogs, enjoyed a drink, and soaked in the fall colors together. After we finished in that outfit, they changed into a dressier option and I was just obsessed! Rochelle wore a fun textured sweater with her burgundy skirt – and it was PERFECT! The skirt popped against the yellows around us and it was a fun way to bring some movement into their images. Seriously – so good. 

Rochelle and Craig, I cannot wait to see you for your May wedding at Separk Mansion! Separk is one of my favorite Charlotte NC wedding venues and I know your wedding day is going to be simply stunning!!
