I’m so excited to be sharing Madeline and Cole’s gorgeous Queens University engagement session with you today! This sweet couple asked me to photograph their session here, locally in Charlotte, before they tie the knot in Italy next month. Their session was absolutely stunning. Madeline was glowing and Cole couldn’t keep his eyes off of her. To me, that’s what engagement sessions are all about: celebrating and being with your loved one! 

Queens University Engagement Session

Queens University is absolutely stunning. With brick buildings and walkways everywhere you look, it’s full of beautiful architecture that’s perfect for an upscale engagement session. I explored campus with Madeline and Cole, looking for the best spots for light to capture their portraits. Cole looked wonderful in a blue suit while Madeline had on the sweetest ivory dress. It was a great hint of “bridal” for their photos and elegant accessories, she looked perfect. 

While we walked, I asked Madeline and Cole all sorts of questions. We had a ton of fun chatting about their wedding plans and how it’s been planning a destination wedding. I loved hearing them open up about their relationship and how excited they are to get married. Watching couples in love is seriously one of the best parts of this job!! Their laughs and smiles together are so real, so genuine. It was a blessing to be able to capture their sweet relationship for them in these images. 

Madeline and Cole, congratulations! I hope your wedding in Italy is everything you dreamed of and I can’t wait to see the portraits! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness and I’m so thrilled you asked me to capture this Charlotte session for you!
