Separk Mansion Wedding Day in the Springtime

I’m absolutely thrilled to be sharing Taylor and Ben’s gorgeous spring Separk Mansion wedding day with you! They tied the knot this March in Gastonia, NC with a beautiful ceremony and reception at one of my favorite venues. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish for their celebration – and they were just a dream to work with. Both Taylor and Ben are super sweet and fun to work with. They trusted me fully to capture their romantic spring wedding – and it was truly a great day!

Separk Mansion Wedding Day

For their spring wedding, Taylor wore a dramatic layered ball gown that looked stunning on her! It moved around her beautifully as she hugged her bridesmaids, walked to meet Ben at the altar and as they danced the night away. Taylor and Ben decided to skip a first look and instead met at their ceremony for the first time. Although their golden retriever, Harvey, stole the show for a moment, nothing could compare to Ben’s reaction to seeing Taylor.

After their ceremony, we explored the gardens and around the property at Separk Mansion for their newlywed portraits. This is always one of my favorite parts of any wedding day! My couples are always glowing and just so happy – and Ben and Taylor were no exception. I loved watching them light up as they realized they were MARRIED! Afterwards, it was time for their reception. Their guests filled the dance floor and had blast all night long dancing with the new Mr. and Mrs.! It was the perfect way to end the night.
