Now that Emily is a married woman, I can finally share her beautiful bridal portraits!!! Exactly one month before her wedding day, we went to Separk Mansion, a top Charlotte-area wedding venue, and did her beautiful bridal portraits.
Separk Mansion is one of my absolute favorite venues for bridal portraits because there are so many different options inside and outside the mansion. It looks like we went to so many different places when really it is all on the same property! And… we didn’t even use all the spaces they have!
Emily’s bridal portrait session made me so excited for her wedding day!!! Seeing her all dressed up as a bride for the first time was so exciting. Emily has such a classic bridal look that I absolutely love. Her beautiful polished updo and natural makeup complemented her classic ballgown dress so well.
And… I am pretty much obsessed with her classic round bouquet with lots of white blooms and gorgeous greenery… we went to all of my favorite spots inside the mansion including the bridal suite, which gets lots of natural light (very important!), the grand staircase, and best of all… the black and white room.
Then, we headed outside for a few more portraits in front of Separk Mansion’s stunning iron gate and the front veranda. It was the perfect March afternoon… still cool, but we got some great warmth from the sunshine. A perfect springtime bridal portrait session if you ask me!
Emily was joined by her mother and future mother-in-law. They were both so sweet and we all had a great time together. When I asked about Emily’s veil and where she got it, her mom said that she made it! I was amazed because it looked like she had gotten it directly from a super fancy bridal boutique!!!
