I am SO excited to be posting about Sarah & Matt’s wedding this past weekend in Matthews, NC! Where do I even begin with these two?! They are totally meant to be together forever, and you can just see it in their eyes!! A beautiful wedding was held at their home church.

The day began with Sarah’s bridal details, which were GORGEOUS, I might add! Sarah’s pearl necklace used to belong to her grandmother, who passed away in 2009. She also included a gorgeous bracelet and earrings, and her Vera Wang perfume, which she calls her signature scent! 

It was so fun to be there while Sarah was getting ready. Her bridesmaids are all very close to her and love her so much! Sarah shared a first look with her dad in the church’s small chapel area. It was very sweet and emotional! Sarah couldn’t stop smiling all day long. 

Sarah and Matt met at the altar and exchanged both personal vows (my favorite!!!) and traditional vows. Luke Edwards shared a beautiful sermon, and the congregation sang three of the couple’s favorite worship songs. They also lit a unity candle–I love when special traditions like that are incorporated into the ceremony!

After the ceremony we took LOTS of fun pictures! That’s always my favorite part of the day of course!!! After some very sweet bride & groom portraits, we entered into the reception time, which was full of fun things! Dinner from Miki’s Restaurant was SO delicious, the first dances were so sweet and heartfelt, and the toasts and music were awesome!

Sarah and Matt left their wedding with an awesome sparkler exit! 🙂 Such a fun day! They are genuinely one of the sweetest couples I have ever met! 

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hoover!!! You have a wonderful life ahead of you!!!
