Beauty. Grace. Poise. These are just a few of the words that describe this gorgeous senior girl. Briana was lovely to work with this past June. We had the entire studio filled with window light to ourselves–what a dream! We rummaged through a beautiful collection of every color of tutu imaginable until we found the perfect wardrobe. Then, we cranked up the Avett Brothers tunes (my favorite!!). Briana warmed up at the barre, and I warmed up behind the camera. I was so impressed by her seemingly effortless improvisation. After some time in the studio, we were so ready to dance outside. Briana did beautiful arabesques and developpes down the sidewalks of historic downtown Kannapolis, NC, and I got shutter-happy, leaving the session with many more beautiful images than I had anticipated! Briana spent the remainder of her summer in Nashville, TN with the Nashville Ballet! Her love for dance is unlike any other. I know that her grace will carry over into every other area of her life.
