Rustic Wedding at Sixty Acres Farm | Amber & Andrew

Weddings

May 13, 2025

Congratulations Amber and Andrew! Their wedding brought me to a new venue – and one I’d consider a hidden gem in Mount Pleasant NC. Sixty Acres Farm turned out to be a gorgeous venue perfect for wedding days with a rustic vibe, like Amber and Andrew planned. These two are so laid back and it made for the most chill and relaxing wedding day ever! I had such a great time with them and their families.

Rustic Wedding at Sixty Acres Farm

Amber and Andrew prepared for their wedding day separately on the property. The space was totally big enough that we could keep them separate until their first touch. Amber and Andrew didn’t want to ruin their aisle reveal, so we found a spot around the barn where they could hold hands and get a chance to say hello and calm nerves – without ever seeing each other! Amber did have a sweet first look with her dad before walking down the aisle, though. I always love first looks with family members or bridal parties. They’re great ways to still have that fun reaction you want, without having to see your spouse before you want.

Wedding Ceremony at Sixty Acres Farm

Sixty Acres Farm has a gorgeous outdoor space for ceremonies. Couples walk through an open air bridge and then can exchange vows on a small dock with their loved ones all around them. Luckily, Amber and Andrew had a beautiful sunny day in March for their outdoor ceremony. After their emotional vow exchange, I took Amber and Andrew around the property for their first portraits as husband and wife. I personally LOVED working in the pastures. I think they made a great spot for some truly beautiful portraits.

The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with their family and friends! Amber and Andrew danced the night away and Amber even surprised their guests with a dress change. She had a fun little white dress to party in – a trend I so love! After plenty of dances, photo booth fun, and emotionally charged toasts, Amber and Andrew left their guests with a glow stick exit from the barn. It was a super fun way to wind down their celebration!

Congratulations again, Amber and Andrew! I am so happy for you and had the best time at your spring wedding day at Sixty Acres Farm!!
