Jessica and I met in college – we lived a few doors down from each other our freshman year! So, photographing her fall wedding at Separk Mansion and celebrating her marriage to Tyler was extra special to me. There’s nothing I love more than getting to be a part of my friends’ wedding days!! Jessica and Tyler are absolutely meant for each other. They were so happy the entire wedding day, constantly smiling at each other. It was the sweetest thing to witness. I can’t wait for you to see every detail of this elegant fall wedding.

Fall Wedding at Separk Mansion

The day of the wedding, Jessica prepared with her ladies in the bridal suite at Separk Mansion. I’m obsessed with the robe she wore while getting ready – it was so fun to photograph with the lace and feather detailing along the sleeves. Jessica was the queen of well-thought out details for the wedding, including a gold and green invitation suite, and pictures of their rings resting on books. Everything just felt so special. After photographing many weddings here (and I will never tire of it!), it’s always exciting to see how couples bring their own special twists to the mansion. 

After Jessica was ready, she met Tyler for their first look in the sunroom with the famous black and white tile floor in the mansion. They were so happy to see each other and I loved watching them soak in their wedding day. Jessica and Tyler chose a simple palette of black and white with gold and pastel accents, so their bridal party wore all black, which looked amazing in the sunroom! 

Since the wedding was in November, Jessica and Tyler held both their ceremony and reception inside the mansion. I love being able to utilize all of the great spaces here and I’m also glad that the weather was nice enough that we could pop outside for portraits on the grounds of Jessica and Tyler! I want to give a huge shout out to their planner, Candace, of Stars Hollow Events – because she helped us keep everything running smoothly and brought their vision to life perfectly. There’s nothing better than a great planner on a wedding day – they can truly help improve the experience of the couple, guests, and vendors!!! 

Congratulations again, Jessica and Tyler! Your day was gorgeous – so well thought out and so YOU. I’m thrilled I got to be a part of it all!
