Congratulations, Stephanie and Lawrence! Stephanie and Lawrence planned a gorgeous fall wedding at The Gin at Aw Shucks Farm in Monroe, NC with the prettiest rustic inspired details and dusty rose and grey color palette. Everything was simply stunning for these newlyweds. Stephanie and Lawrence are a joy to work with. They’re both SO laid back and happy. You could just feel how excited they were to be getting married this fall. 

Fall Wedding Day in Monroe, NC

Stephanie and Lawrence have actually known each other since high school, so this wedding day was a long time coming. It’s always interesting to work with couples who have known each other for so long. Their relationship is so comfortable and sweet. These two were no exception! With all of the joy between the two of them, the day just felt so happy all day long. 

Stephanie and Lawrence had a beautiful October day for their wedding. We couldn’t have asked for better weather to celebrate! They thought carefully about all of the details they chose for their celebration. I especially loved the color palette. Stephanie’s bridesmaids wore shades of dusty pink and it was BEAUTIFUL against the fall colors behind them. In fact, some of her bridesmaids were Stephanie’s kids. I love that she included her family in the wedding. She’s adopted them from all over the world and their happiness for her and Lawrence was so special, too. 

Rustic Gin at Aw Shucks Farm Wedding Reception

My other favorite part of the day was definitely their wedding reception. They hosted it in the barn at the Gin at Aw Shucks farm. The barn is absolutely beautiful. Stephanie and Lawrence chose some fun and elegant centerpieces – filled with delicate ivory cattails and other fall florals. They looked so perfect against all of the wood details of the barn. Stephanie and Lawrence enjoyed the night with their family and friends. It was a true celebration!
