Boxwood Estate Wedding | Amanda & Dutch

Weddings

November 8, 2022

Amanda and Dutch are married! I was so excited to see them both after their beautiful Reynolda Gardens engagement session. Like I mentioned in that blog, Amanda and Dutch are the kind of people you just never want to stop being around. They’re both so fun, so relaxed, and always make you feel welcome. Their gorgeous Boxwood Estate wedding day felt that way, too. Everything was all about the two of them and celebrating this amazing next chapter in their lives together.

Classic Bridal Look

One of the things I LOVE about Amanda is her sense of style. She chose a beautiful, classic wedding gown and looked amazing. In fact, her gown reminded me of my own… probably part of why I loved it so much! She was so sweet as she got ready for the day. Her bridesmaids helped get her ready for a first look with her dad. I definitely teared up during that one. He kissed her hand during their first look. It was seriously the cutest thing in the world and you can tell how loved she is!!

Boxwood Estate Wedding Day

After Aanda’s first look with her dad, she and Dutch met for a first touch on the gorgeous staircase inside Boxwood Estate. I absolutely loved this staircase and it was the perfect spot to facilitate such a special moment for her and Dutch. Dutch did wind up having a first look with one of his friends during the prep part of the day. It was hilarious and we all had a good laugh. It was a great way to reduce some of the nerves leading up to the big moment!

Amanda and Dutch met for the first time face-to-face during their ceremony on their wedding day. I’ll never forget how Dutch reacted to seeing Amanda – he bent over and was just in awe of her. It still makes me tear up to see how much he loves her. Their ceremony was held on the lawn of Boxwood Estate in front of the gorgeous green house. It was beautiful!!! Afterwards, I took Amanda and Dutch around the property for their portraits. We had some rain drizzle happening, but the newlyweds took it in stride, grabbing clear umbrellas and just staying wrapped up in each other. It was perfect!

Their reception was held in a gorgeous clear tent on the lawn. I love that their guests were able to party and celebrate, while enjoying the beautiful September weather, the grounds of Boxwood Estate,  and the night sky! My favorite part of the night might have been their confetti exit though! It was SO much fun and a truly joyful way to end the night for Amanda and Dutch.

Thank you for asking me to be part of your wedding day, Amanda and Dutch. Everything was seriously stunning and I hope I’ll be back at Boxwood Estate soon! I hope that you two continue to find happiness together and lots of love in your life together!!
