Justin proposed to Kristen in Minnesota, where they went to Duluth on Lake Superior. They traveled to Lester Park where Justin had the two walking all around to a particular waterfall. After having to call the Park Ranger, Justin & Kristen finally found the spot! Justin waited for the high school girls to leave, so he could get down on one knee and ask Kristen to spend the rest of her life with him.

Their proposal story is one of my favorites, and when they shared the details of it with me, I knew they would be such a gift to work with on their wedding day! The flowers, the lace, the bouquets, the tuxedos – the two paid close attention to every single little detail, and it brought their day together beautifully! Their wedding day was both elegant and classic – incorporating the most beautiful blues and purples in the flowers and decor.

Sweet Magnolia Beauties did an amazing job of dolling Kristen up, and she was surrounded by all of her closest friends and her sweet mom as she got ready! They were married in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Charlotte, and their bridal party was so emotional! They exited the church with beautiful smiles on their faces, and we headed to Cabarrus Country Club for some GORGEOUS portraits!!! Kristen even spotted a dogwood tree that was in full bloom!

The party was SO much fun. There were SO many guests that joined them on the dance floor, and DJ Marty really brought the energy!!! What I loved most was Kristen’s wonderful hospitality…she greeted each and every person and gave them all BIG hugs. She and Justin were truly the best hosts for the best wedding!!!

The two told me that all they wanted on their wedding day was for their guests to feel comfortable and have the time of their life! And oh my gosh, they did just that! I knew without a shadow of a doubt that every guest who attended felt so loved by the couple. It was a joy to witness everyone celebrating the newlyweds together – this truly is a wedding I will never forget!
