I just love Emily and DJ! A few years ago, I captured their anniversary session, so I was thrilled when they reached out about more portraits together. This time, they wanted Downtown Mooresville portraits, and I couldn’t wait since I haven’t done a lot of exploring in this area. Now, after capturing their session there, […]

Farmstead Bridal Portraits Mary Catherine’s bridal portraits at The Farmstead were  like something out of a dream!  Choosing to Do Bridal Portraits I had just done Mary Catherine and Chris’s engagement session about two days before her bridal portraits! It was so fun to see her twice in one week! It’s always so fun for […]

“Kevyn took family photos for us in Charleston. Our experience working with Kevyn was fantastic. She was kind, easy-going, and handled our wild 6-year old son. We love all of the photos!”

“As a couple in a long-distance engagement, our photographer really mattered to us. She came highly recommended and the outcome of our shoot was incredible. She not only made us feel comfortable and confident, but also captured our natural interactions and mannerisms as well. She took her time to get to know us as a couple and the photos really show that. She was friendly, talented, kind, and clearly hardworking.”

“So thankful to have Kevyn’s beautiful photos to cherish forever. She is so knowledgable and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Not only that, but she has such a precious personality and heart! I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who values high quality products as well as an engaging and friendly personality!”

Creating this video was so heartwarming. I loved hearing about Heather and Taylor’s amazing friendship, stories about how their interest in styling began, how they want their brides to feel, and their personal reactions and relationships on each wedding day. I am so thankful that they shared so much of their hearts. Watch the video below and see for yourself how incredible these two ladies are! If you or someone you know is looking for a hair and makeup artist (not just for weddings) I think the choice is pretty clear! 🙂

One of my favorite things to sing during worship is The Doxology, and this version gives me chills and makes me smile every single time. I have been singing this short, sweet hymn for as long as I can remember. Worship communities are very important to me, and the relationships that bloom from them are […]

Bridal Portraits. It’s a Southern tradition. I love seeing a bride dressed up on her wedding day, looking in the mirror before going down the aisle and knowing how truly beautiful she is. She has chosen the perfect dress and glittering jewelry, her best friends and family members are surrounding her, and her groom is […]

Emma… oh my goodness. Where do I start?! There is so much beauty in this post!!!! We walked through downtown concord and Jay M Robinson High School’s campus for Emma’s session. The weather has been absolutely crazy the past couple of weeks, so we had to do emma’s senior session in two parts–I never complain about […]
