It was SO good to see Kaitlyn and Blake again. I met Kaitlyn when she was a bridesmaid in Tory and Colton’s wedding last fall. When she reached out about me capturing her engagement and wedding, I was over the moon! I absolutely LOVE when clients seek me out like that. It’s such a special feeling and it makes me happy to know that those who attend and are a part of weddings I photograph like what I do. Kaitlyn and Blake were such a joy to work with for their engagement session. They’re naturals and so easy to photograph, so their McGill Rose Garden engagement session didn’t really feel like work at all! 

McGill Rose Garden Engagement Session

This gorgeous rose garden is one of my favorite spots in the NODA neighborhood of Charlotte. It’s quiet and beautiful, providing an intimate setting for anyone visiting. That really works in my favor because it helps my clients relax and just enjoy their time together instead of worrying about what’s going on around them. Kaitlyn chose the most gorgeous white dress to wear for their portraits. It gave us so much movement and I definitely made sure to have her twirl it a few times! 

Kaitlyn and Blake also brought their dog Winston along for their session. He was SO well behaved and I loved meeting and working with him too. I think he’s pretty excited his parents are getting married, ha! 

I can’t wait for your wedding at Byron’s in South End, Kaitlyn and Blake! May feels so far away but I know it will pass quickly and we’ll be celebrating you two as NEWLYWEDS before we know it!
