Congratulations to these Duke University graduates!!! This was my first time capturing a group graduation portrait session and I loved every minute of working with these beautiful ladies. Emily, Sara, Gabrielle, Lucy, and Dryden hired me to capture their Duke University graduation portraits this spring. Honestly, I adored that they wanted to a way to commemorate their time together, both individually and as a group of friends. And we seriously had the best time together!!! I’m thrilled to be sharing their session with you today.

Duke University Graduation Portraits

For most of their session, we stayed around Duke Chapel. It’s one of the most gorgeous spots on Duke’s campus. And with the beautiful weather we had for their portraits, I couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The girls really wanted to celebrate their time as a group of friends AND graduates, so we made sure to photograph them as a group and alone. While they’re all beautiful alone, I think the group shots might be some of my favorites! There’s something about being able to celebrate with the people you love. Graduating from college is SUCH a big achievement and I’m so honored that these lovely ladies asked me to capture this milestone for them.

During their one session, we worked really hard to provide a good variety of images for them. We captured Emily, Sara, Gabrielle, Lucy, and Dryden in their cute spring dresses and their caps and gowns. Plus, we even had some fun with champagne at the end. Seriously, I wasn’t lying when I said these ladies were a TON of fun! I loved watching them laugh together – and the chance to get to talk with each of them more.

Congratulations again to these amazing five graduates of Duke University!!! I know you’re all going to go on to do great things.
