Clarissa and Nathan are the CUTEST and I loved every moment of my engagement session with them in Uptown Charlotte. All of my couples always say how nervous they are before our session, but by the end, everyone is so relaxed and having a great time. Clarissa and Nathan had nothing to worry about… they were naturals immediately in front of the camera! Nathan has this way of making Clarissa just laugh and smile SO brightly. It’s amazing. What a gift!! Their entire session was so much fun, seriously! They’ll be tying the knot in front of an amazing art exhibit at the Mint Museum next March, so a Mint Museum engagement session was perfect for them!

Mint Museum Engagement Session

When Clarissa and Nathan arrived to their session, I was convinced they’d stepped out of a magazine. Their navy outfits were simply gorgeous – and looked great in front of the Mint Museum. I’m still obsessed with these photos!!! Even through some gentle spring winds and an outfit change at the baseball field, Clarissa’s hair looked incredible. I was SO jealous!! We were able to start at the Mint Museum – photographing them outside and on the steps before we took a walk though Uptown. Along the way, we found the prettiest spring trees starting to bloom. Nathan made Clarissa laugh on one of the benches and we enjoyed this special time for the two of them.

Afterwards, we headed to Truist Field! Nathan used to work for the Charlotte Knights, so they arranged for us to do part of their session at the stadium. It was AMAZING to have the entire place to ourselves… and kind of strange, ha! When Clarissa and Nathan started dating, they visited the stadium a lot so it made sense to include it in their session. What a unique spot to celebrate some of their earlier memories.
