Katelyn and Taylor are some of the most fun people I’ve met and photographed recently. Both of them have an amazing sense of humor that made our entire Separk Mansion engagement session feel more relaxed and casual. We all clicked SO well, and it definitely made me excited to photograph their wedding in 2022! When we started planning their fall engagement session, Katelyn and Taylor expressed they were a bit nervous. They’d never taken any photos like this together (most couples haven’t!). And they weren’t sure about posing or anything of that nature. I assured them I’d be there for them the whole way. It turns out, they didn’t even need my extra help – they were NATURALS!
Separk Mansion Engagement Session
Like most couples, it took a little bit of time to warm up to being in front of the camera, but we still had an amazing time. Katelyn actually told me after she got her gallery that she could SEE where she relaxed some. I absolutely love all their photos because we just had fun, but I’m so glad they were able to relax and enjoy the session after all! Katelyn and Taylor chose two great outfits for their portraits at Separk Mansion. She chose a great flowing dress for the first half, which was great for lots of twirls and movement. Their second outfits really felt like fall and looked great outdoors – it was a fun way to bring some darker, jewel tones into their portraits!
I cannot wait for their spring 2022 wedding at Separk Mansion. I know it’s going to be a ton of fun and be absolutely beautiful! Congratulations again, you two!
