The Andrews Farm Wedding: Katie and Lathan

Weddings

October 15, 2020

Katie and Lathan are officially married! Honestly, I know that they’d been waiting anxiously for their elopement to arrive – and now it’s happened! I almost can’t believe it! Their Andrews Farm elopement was SO special. Along with one of the owners of the venue, Hunter, I served as their witness and photographer. Their intimate celebration was a reminder of why I do what I do. In the end, love always wins – and always conquers all. Even a global pandemic that had other plans for all of these sweet couples trying to get married!

The Andrews Farm Elopement

We lucked out with a truly beautiful day for their fall elopement. Seriously, it was absolutely perfect weather!!! With a super intimate ceremony between just the two of them, they exchanged their vows. Everything was so personalized and sweet… there were definitely a lot of happy tears shed. And not just by Katie and Lathan! After their ceremony was over, we began to explore the Andrews Farm. I just LOVE this property and being here with two special people made it even better.

The perfect weather continued into the evening, as we got a gorgeous sunset. Katie and Lathan popped some champagne and enjoyed a few moments together to celebrate their wedding. I can’t get enough of the toasting photos! They just look SO happy – and I can’t blame them one bit!

Their Elopement Celebration

Katie and Lathan enjoyed the rest of their night in Uptown Charlotte with a fancy dinner and a stay at the Ivey’s Hotel. It was a great romantic way to end the celebrations of their elopement and the start of their next chapter together. Congratulations again, Katie and Lathan! I am so, so happy I was able to be both your photographer and witness for your intimate fall Andrews Farm elopement. You two deserve the world and a lifetime of happiness. I am so thrilled for you both!
