Bethany and Trevor’s Kannapolis, NC Wedding in March

Weddings

March 8, 2019

After a whole two months without a wedding to shoot, I was so excited to get back into the swing of things with Bethany and Trevor!! Their Kannapolis NC wedding in March was so beautiful and fun! They both started the day surrounded by their closest friends and family members. As they were both getting ready at the church, I could see just how loved they were by all of the affection they were receiving from everyone! There were too many hugs to count!

As Bethany was putting on her dress, we all noticed how much her and her mom look alike! It was like looking at sisters, or even twins. Then, Bethany shared a very sweet first look with her dad – that is always one of my favorite moments of the day!!

Before the ceremony, we had the opportunity to get photos of Bethany and her bridesmaids, and Trevor and his groomsmen – both groups were so much fun and so sweet!

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held at Bethany’s home church in Concord, North Carolina. Trevor had the biggest smile on his face as Bethany walked down the aisle towards him. Cue the tears! Their ceremony followed traditions but they also put their own twist on it by showing a slideshow of photos of the two of them from the time they started dating all the way through their engagement.  They were together for several years before getting married, so there were lots of cute and fun photos to share!!

After that, as they were exchanging rings, Trevor actually dropped Bethany’s ring and it narrowly missed the vent they were standing on top of! Everyone gasped but had a good laugh and now they have a great story to tell!! Haha!

After the family pictures and bridal party pictures, we had so much fun taking photos both at the church and in downtown Kannapolis! The area around the NC research campus is one of my favorite places to take pictures in our area.  I love how Bethany and Trevor joke with each other, and share a fun sense of humor! We had a great time taking photos with them.

After being announced into the reception, everyone enjoyed a wonderful buffet by Dough Girls Catering. It included a fondue bar – YUM count me in! Bethany and Trevor shared a very sweet first dance! The music was actually a song that Trevor had played on guitar and sang! It was recorded specifically for their wedding first dance song. If that isn’t the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard I don’t know what is!

After some dancing with friends and family, they wrapped up the evening by exiting with a grand sparkler exit! It was such a beautiful day and we were blessed with gorgeous weather after so many days of rain.  It was such an honor to be a part of their day and I am so excited for their future. Now they are celebrating in Hawaii!
